About ME

My WHY

My early twenties were shook to the core when my mom, an ER nurse for her entire career, ended up with an injury from a recommended annual immunization. The last 14 years for me have been an unlearning and relearning journey - critically challenging my thinking. When my husband and I started to have a desire for children, we were both mind blown at the things we learned on the birth industry, the products we were using, and how much food on the grocery store shelves isn’t even exactly real food. After becoming a mom, I had this desire to share my experience with vaccine injury, low toxic living, and unmedicated birth. My goal is to help educate and empower others in this space to live a little less toxic. To question the narrative when it doesn’t feel right. And to stand up and speak up for one’s family; no matter what.

Random facts

  • Born again Christian and believer.

  • We met my freshman year of college at a mixer my sorority did with his fraternity. He was delayed graduating college on time due to being deployed to Iraq and ending up with an injury from war; we never would have crossed paths if it wasn’t for that delay. We only met briefly that night - in fact, I dated another guy throughout most of college. My husband messaged me a few times here and there and I never responded… it took me graduating college, moving across country and back, to finally respond to a message and agree to a date.

  • Originally from south of Atlanta. I grew up on a mini ‘farm’ - goats, ducks, chickens, horses, a pig… plus your standard cats and dogs.

  • Aside from running my Instagram platform, I currently work in IP/Software law.
