I’m married to the love of my life that I met when I was 19, but didn’t agree to a date until I was 25. He’s in the army full time and together we have 3 beautiful kiddos who all have names that end in TT. I love birth - and have had a unmedicated hospital birth, home water birth and accidental home free birth totally solo, man it’s a story! My beautiful 3rd born, Everett, is my miracle born with undiagnosed congenital diaphragmatic hernia. It’s only missed ~10% of the time on ultrasound and has a 50% chance of survival - he likes to challenge statistics. (His story is wild. Check my Everett highlight on ig @thenaturalmindedmomma). He’s humbled me, challenged me and given me a different perspective since he was born and forced me to grow and set boundaries in the trauma. I have been a purist holistic crunchy mom, but honestly - it’s not my reality anymore. I live a 80/20 lifestyle, homesteading in north east GA, and really just want to live a little less toxic in a toxic world. I believe modern medicine can be life saving (hi, Everett’s surgery and ECMO), but I also believe it can still be overused and cause a lot of harm (hi, to my mom who is severely injured from 💉). I live in the grey area. My journey started over a decade ago after my mom’s injury. It’s been a marathon, not a sprint. I was born at the Aires Pisces cusp (idk what that means), lived in Vegas, played soccer all my life, love French decor, grew up on a mini farm, licensed in law, but just walked away from a 12 yr career to stay home & do IG full. After months in the NICU with ev, the call home hit. I thought I would be a homeschool mom, but after a lot of thought it’s not the season. I love satire reels, making fun of myself and crunchy things, wellness, swap posts, Christian mom thoughts… and more! I’m not afraid of changing my mind when presented with new information and love to evolve in my beliefs. My instagram page has evolved a lot since I started 4 years ago: medical freedom, politics, swaps, but I always try to stay true to my current season of life and I’m transparent.
