As a big advocate for utilizing water filters, and given that reverse osmosis is the method I currently use in my home, remineralizing my water is an absolute must. Over the years, I've tried various products and even resorted to just a pinch of real salt. However, nothing has been as simple and effective as using Buoy.
It is SIMPLE. Simply use a small squirt and it goes into ANY drink. They advertise it being used even in wine!! (I wish I had something like this in my 20’s - it may have saved me from some gnarly hangovers LOL).
My kids can use it no problem. I add it to their sippy cups/water cups and they don’t hesitate to drink it. If anything, I think they drink MORE water than compared to water without it.
It’s portable!! I keep one in the kitchen, in the car, and it easily can fit in my purse, a diaper bag, or anything else. No more making sure I have enough packets or carrying around a big bottle of minerals to add to my drinks.
It’s practically tasteless. With any trace mineral product, you will have some flavor, but I’d be lying if I said I can taste it once mixed into my drinks. With it being a squirt bottle, it can be tricky to find the right amount to squirt in, and easy to add too much, but once you get the hang of a quick squirt, it blends perfectly into any drink. I add it to my coffee, water, juice, even into pudding and yogurt.
It’s affordable!! A month’s supply, three bottles, is only $30. For something that my whole family uses daily, it is easy to fit it into our monthly budget.
The ingredients are great! From an ingredient standpoint, I don’t have any issue at all using this and giving it to my kids.
They offer a subscription which makes it super easy to make sure I never run out. I am all for things that streamline my to-do list and make life easier!
Now, things I don’t love:
It’s easy to over-do it, which means you will taste it. Thankfully, that’s typically user-error and I can’t blame anyone but myself for adding too much!
Conclusion:
Buoy makes a great product that I fully stand behind. I love it for myself, my children, and have zero concerns recommending it to anyone else. As with anything, what works for one person may not work for others, but I haven’t heard anyone that uses Buoy personally have any issues with it!
